The world population is growing in size and the demand for healthy food is growing. VB is preparing for the future. Edward Verbakel: "With our turnkey greenhouses with an integrated climate system, we can ensure that sufficient, high-quality food is available anywhere in the world. This requires a progressive approach, an innovative approach to customer solutions and sustainable cooperation with our partners and customers".

Young talent impressed by VB

During GreenTech, new talent also had an eye for what VB stands for: innovation and sustainability. More than 250 students took part in the GreenTech HortiTalent talent programme and visited the international exhibition in RAI Amsterdam. They were linked to suppliers in order to introduce them to the sector and the opportunities it offers in terms of growth. A group of young people that chose VB as the most innovative of its kind even reached the finals! Edward: "For that future of growth, we need plenty of new talent with their state-of-the-art knowledge. It's nice that students see what VB stands for and want to face that future together with us!"
