With regard to privacy and the protection of personal data, VB adheres to the legal framework and rules of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). Everyone is entitled to a careful handling of his or her personal data. VB endorses the need for safety and security of our customers, employees and relations. VB handles the personal data provided with integrity, transparency and care.

What are personal data?

According to the law, personal data are all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (the data subject). All personal data collected via application forms, trade fair visits, e-mail, telephone and other means are obtained voluntarily and are only stored with the prior consent of those involved.

Use of data

Your personal data may be used by VB to contact you:

Legal grounds data processing

These possible legitimate interests are described in this privacy statement. In individual cases, VB may need to process your data because this is necessary for:

Right of access, rectification and deletion

Under the ‘AVG’ you have the right to inspect your personal data. You can make your request known to us via the contact details above. If your details are not correct, you can submit a request for rectification and we will ensure that your data is rectified. It is also possible that you want us to delete your personal data and not use it anymore. This can be withdrawn by means of your permission (in the event that the data processing took place on the basis of your explicit permission). However, it could occur, if necessary, that we keep the personal data for which permission has already been given. In addition, you can indicate that you wish to limit your personal data, in which case we will ensure that your data is not used without your explicit permission.

You have the right to request and receive your data in a customary format.
