Challenge and approach
VB has been able to create the entire greenhouse, screen installations and all the climate systems of Syngenta's new R&D facility in Enkhuizen. This new R&D greenhouse (known as a back-cross factory) helps Syngenta add more value to the market by allowing its growth processes to become faster and more dependable than before.
Results and characteristics
With this greenhouse, Syngenta wants to ensure the quality and safety of its products and services by applying state-of-the-art science and technology standards throughout the life cycle of its products, and by providing proper training for its employees and customers. Syngenta conducts research aimed at developing innovative, safe and reliable products which improve agricultural crop yield and help improve quality of life.
